Terms of Service
Effective August 2, 2026
These terms apply when you use Unblend (“the app”). By installing and using the app, you agree to them.
1. What the app is
The app changes the colors shown on screen so that you can tell color differences apart more easily. It is an assistive tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, correct, or treat color vision deficiency. The self-check inside the app is a reference for finding correction settings that suit you. For an accurate examination and diagnosis, please see an eye care professional.
2. Safety
Corrected colors can differ from the original, and how well the correction works depends on the photo and the lighting. Do not rely on the app alone for any judgment where safety or health is at stake. For example:
- Telling apart electrical wiring, piping, or industrial equipment by color
- Reading traffic lights, road signs, and similar signals
- Judging discoloration in medicine, test strips, or food
- Color inspection or verification required as part of your work
In situations like these, use cues other than color — shape, position, labels, numbers — or ask someone for help.
3. Advertising
The app is free and shows ads. Ad content is determined by the ad provider, and the app does not endorse it. Information collected in connection with advertising is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Subscription
An auto-renewing subscription is available that removes ads. The price and renewal period are shown on the purchase screen and may vary by country and over time.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged at that time.
- You can cancel at any time in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device. After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds follow Apple’s policies and procedures.
- If you change devices or reinstall the app, use Restore Purchase inside the app.
The subscription removes ads. All correction features are free regardless of whether you subscribe.
5. Intellectual property
Rights in the app and its components belong to the developer. Photos you correct and save with the app are yours, and the developer claims no rights in them.
6. Limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the app. This does not limit liability for damages caused by the developer’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
7. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version is posted on this page with its effective date. Continuing to use the app after that date means you agree to the revised terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
9. Language
This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Korean version is the original, and in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Korean version prevails.
